The US Ambassador to Yemen, Mr. Stephen Fagin, was briefed on the Al Jisr – The Bridge project implemented by Media Sac for Media and Development, in a special meeting with the Foundation’s leadership via Zoom.

This meeting coincides with the World Press Freedom Day to brief the American ambassador on the efforts and success of Al Jisr – The Bridge project, which was implemented by Media Sac in partnership with the American University of Arizona in Yemen. On cultural and scientific exchange with students of the School of Journalism in Arizona, USA.

Ambassador Fagin expressed his happiness and admiration for the efforts and successes achieved through this project, which enhances the exchange of roles, scientific expertise and cultural exchange between Yemeni-American students, under the supervision of staff and scientific expertise from the universities participating in the project, praising the role of Media Sac among the local civil society organizations in Yemen .

For her part, Ms. Areena Basmael, CEO of Media Sac, renewed her happiness with this special meeting and the interest in following up the implementation and success of the project by His Excellency the Ambassador and the project supervisors from the American University of Arizona, stressing that the project achieved a large area of scientific knowledge, qualification and different cultural exchange for the participating students; thankful for the efforts of the US Embassy in Yemen and their continued interest.
